The investigation
You are the consulting detective. On the night of Sunday 8 February 2026, Dr Younes Ramadhan, a cardiologist at the Clinique La Treille in Algiers, was found dead in the office of his home. At first it looked like a heart attack during a burglary. The laboratory is no longer so sure. Open the evidence in any order. Compare times, heights, clothes and places; statements contradict each other, and some people lie about small things for their own reasons. Two items are puzzles: the burnt diary page , whose strips must be put back in order, and the doctor’s locked laptop , which opens with a four-digit code. Use the notebook and the timeline. When you are ready, file your accusation.
