Detective Tales

Investigation room

Investigate together, each on your own phone

One person opens a room and shares a 6-letter code. Up to 6 detectives read the same file on their own screen, see who opened which document, vote in secret, then the host reveals the votes.

One case at 1 500 DA for 6 friends: 250 DA each. Guests pay nothing and need no account.

Join a room

Type the code the host sent you.

Create a room

You are the host: choose the case, then send the code to your friends.

How a room works

The host opens the room on a case and gets a 6-letter code and a link. Friends open the link, or type the code on this page, and write their first name. No account, no app.

Everyone reads the file on their own screen. Next to each document you see the initials of those who opened it: split the folders between you. When one of you solves a puzzle or opens a chapter, it opens for the whole room.

At the end, everyone votes in secret from their phone. Nobody sees the votes. The host reveals them: they appear side by side and the solution opens on every screen at the same moment.

Who pays?

Only the host needs the case. The free case costs nobody anything. For a paid case, the host who bought it invites up to 5 friends, who pay nothing.

Guests play the case inside the room only. A room holds 6 detectives, host included. After the reveal it takes no one new; it ends after 3 days without play, or when the host ends it. The host can then open another room.

Same table or remote

At a table, the room replaces the folder passed from hand to hand: everyone on their own phone, a timeline on paper in the middle. On a video call, take fifteen minutes of silent reading, then talk.

Share the roles

The reader reads the documents. The timekeeper fills in the timeline. The devil's advocate defends every suspect. The clerk notes the contradictions. Nobody votes before everyone has read the main documents.
